Andrea Podlesney

Paralegal

Andrea Podlesney has over 20 years of experience as a criminal defense paralegal. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2004. Andrea went on to earn her paralegal certificate from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies in 2008.

Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2012 (recertified in 2022), Andrea is actively involved in the criminal defense community. She serves on the Criminal Law Paralegal Commission for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the Ad Hoc Committee on Criminal Law for the State Bar of Texas. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and a founding member of the Paralegal Division of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.

Andrea completed 120 hours of course work in forensic toxicology through AXION Training Institute including courses in Forensic Chromatography: Theory and Practice, Forensic Principals of DUID, and Forensic Drug Analysis. She is also certified as a practitioner in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.

Andrea resides in Pearland with her 14-year-old boys, Dominick and Mason, and their English Bulldog, Mercy. When Andrea is not at the office assisting Mr. Murphy and Mr. McKinney in defending and advocating for their clients, she is sitting in the bleachers watching her boys play baseball and football.
